Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judas Priest (ranked 2529 p4p, 5359 weight class) and Nedjeljko Markovic (ranked 107 p4p, 0 weight class). Priest kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is JiÅ™Ã ProchÃ¡zka Battle Scream. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Priest pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Priest closes this distance looking for a takedown but Markovic circles away.
Markovic throws a body shot but no joy.

Markovic cracks Priest with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Priest looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Markovic finish him?

Markovic looks to land a body kick but Priest moved away.
Markovic takes a swing at Priest's ribcage but misses.
Priest bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Markovic tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Priest was well out of range. Poor timing from Markovic.

Markovic throws a push kick but Priest slaps the foot to one side.

Markovic is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Priest rather than just go for the knockout.

Markovic pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Markovic swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Markovic lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Priest has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Priest and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Priest appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Priest avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Priest stalks Markovic and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Markovic's face. Markovic staggers backwards, shaken.
Priest throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Priest counters with a stiff right hand.
Markovic walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Markovic's jab looks to have found its range, popping Priest under the eye.
The fighters circling - Priest throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Priest shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Markovic's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Markovic can do anything to dispel that myth.
Priest wants to control from the top but Markovic keeps moving.
Priest pushing down on Markovic's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Priest is looking to take a break and control but Markovic is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Priest lands a really nice looking cross but Markovic seems unphased.

Priest is looking to take a break and control but Markovic is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Priest uses his free foot to push down on Markovic's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Markovic.

Priest is working for a guillotine from mount but Markovic frees his head quite easily.
Markovic tries to hold on but Priest postures up.
Priest can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Markovic is looking to escape.
Priest wants to take Markovic's back but he can't do it this time.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Priest with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
