Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyke Bison (ranked 3332 p4p, 3080 weight class) and Kalle Kula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bison comes to the cage accompanied by Del The Funky Homosapien - Jaw Gymnastics. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyke Bison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kalle Kula!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kula connects with a looping right hand.
Kula tries to clinch but Bison moves out of range.
Bison has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Kula clinches with his opponent.

Kula breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bison shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Kula throws a good cross that connects.
Bison throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kula counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Bison ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Bison swats away the attempt to clinch by Kula.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bison is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kula connects with a crisp jab.
Bison dodges the punch combination from Kula.
It looked like Bison was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kula.

Bison tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kula just stands there and leans against the cage.

Kalle Kula seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kula wants to clinch up but Bison keeps it at a distance.
Kula bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Bison takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kula lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A combination from Kula does no damage.
Kula connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bison. Bison circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bison presses Kula against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Kula escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kula's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bison under the eye.
Kula closes the distance but Bison moves to the side
and Bison counters with a left to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Bison. Those never looked like landing.
Kula swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bison jumps guard.
Bison might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bison is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Bison has his foot on Kula's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kula works his way back into a safe position though.

Kalle Kula showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Kula takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Kula tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bison was well out of range. Poor timing from Kula.

Bison is rocked!
Bison gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Kula gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kalle Kula!
Kalle Kula tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
The defeated Tyke Bison had this to say: 'D'oh, d'oh, that thuckth! Back to the drawing board!'.
