The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jeffries shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. May is trying to defend but Jeffries finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
May wants to control but Jeffries passes into side.
Jeffries is working May over with some ground and pound from side control.
Jeffries creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Jeffries in side control lands a decent elbow.
Jeffries cracks May with a big right hand but May just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

May takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Craig May's cut is getting worse.
Jeffries scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh May is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Jeffries can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
