The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Sova closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sova is trying to drag Dew to the mat but Dew just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Sova has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Dew is trying to keep an underhook but Sova manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Dew is squirming around, avoiding Sova's attempts to control the action.

Dew felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Sova goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Dew turns into him and now he's in Sova's guard.

Sova thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Sova is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dew looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sova gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dew is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sova lets go of the hold and Dew can pop his arm back in it's socket.
