Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Derek Combs (ranked 3580 p4p, 4749 weight class) and Darwin Hampton (ranked 383 p4p, 203 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Derek Combs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darwin Hampton!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hampton uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Combs.
Combs ducks under a wild hook from Hampton.
Hampton stuns Combs with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Combs throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hampton on the side of the head.
Hampton misses with a looping right.
Hampton is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Combs.
Combs darts in and clinches Hampton up against the ropes.
Hampton breaks from the clinch.
Combs uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hampton.
Combs takes a jab right on the kisser.
Combs lands a head shot.
Hampton moves out of range of the strikes.
Combs swings for the body but Hampton moves out of range.
A slow jab from Hampton misses its intended target.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A swing and a miss from Hampton.
Combs looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
No joy there for Hampton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hampton slips a jab from Combs.
Hampton moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hampton misses with a hook. Combs ducked under it nicely.
Combs misses with a straight left.
Combs throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hampton drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Hampton is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Combs engages and cracks Hampton with a massive lead left hook - Hampton tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Combs is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Derek Combs!
