Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rohan Singh (ranked 3783 p4p, 3927 weight class) and Erin Dorato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Singh has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rohan Singh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Erin Dorato!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorato rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Singh moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Singh appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Rohan Singh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dorato forces Singh back against the cage and clinches.

Dorato breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dorato lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Singh backs up against the cage.
Singh is breathing heavily.

Dorato closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dorato lands in his opponent's guard.
Dorato forces his way into half guard.
Singh is looking for a sweep. Dorato is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Dorato landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Dorato looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Dorato has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like Dorato is going to stand back up.
Dorato slows the pace down in half guard.
Dorato wants to pass the guard but Singh is defending well.
Dorato is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dorato seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Singh does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Dorato stops Singh from getting back to his feet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Dorato closes the distance and pushes Singh back into the cage.
Singh tries to score a body lock takedown but Dorato shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Dorato escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Dorato drives through and clinches with Singh against the cage.

Dorato jumps guard and drags Singh to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Singh trying to control the position from guard on top but Dorato is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dorato can do anything to dispel that myth.
Singh won't allow Dorato to sweep him here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dorato is on top in guard.

Dorato stays in close to Singh's body and controls the position.
Dorato forces his way into half guard.
Singh is trying to control but Dorato passes into side control!

A bit of a pause in the action here. Dorato controlling the positon.

Singh defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

Dorato has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Singh is defending well but eventually Dorato manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Singh has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
