Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Nansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dragon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Dragon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Dragon breaks from Nansen's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Dragon lands with some strikes.
Nansen regains half guard.
Dragon is trying to control the action in half guard but Nansen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Dragon is working for a submission of some sort.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dragon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nansen keeps working.
Nansen trying to hold on to Dragon's head to control him but Dragon postures up.

Nansen controls Dragon momentarily but Dragon frees himself.

Dragon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Nansen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dragon, into his guard.

Nansen passes Dragon's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Nansen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Nansen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dragon is looking to control Nansen's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dragon avoid being mounted?

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Nansen lands with a punch from half guard.
Nansen looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Nansen is working for a kimura but Dragon is defending it quite comfortably.

Nansen is working Dragon over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Marcos Nansen will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dragon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nansen circles away.

Nansen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dragon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nansen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dragon's back instead.
You can see the frustration on Dragon's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
