Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Dwalin Giantslayer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 50 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fedor Mazepin!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giantslayer throws a low kick, looking for Mazepin's leg but Mazepin calmly moves out of range.
Mazepin checks a leg kick.
Mazepin drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Giantslayer defends it well.

Giantslayer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mazepin sprawls well initially but Giantslayer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mazepin is looking for a sweep. Giantslayer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Giantslayer throwing shots but Mazepin is blocking nicely.

Mazepin looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Giantslayer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mazepin looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mazepin is looking to improve his position.
Giantslayer is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

It looks like Fedor Mazepin has been cut.
Mazepin is refusing to be controlled, as Giantslayer sits in half guard.
Giantslayer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Mazepin is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Giantslayer scores with a couple of nice shots.
Giantslayer is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

That has opened up Fedor Mazepin's cut even more.
Giantslayer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Fedor Mazepin's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Fedor Mazepin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dwalin Giantslayer!
In his post fight interview, Dwalin Giantslayer started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
The defeated Fedor Mazepin had this to say: 'until next time'.
