Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kulata Bitok (ranked 23856 p4p, 3632 weight class) and Tatu Kurri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurri works over Bitok's head and body with a nice combination.

Kurri gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Kurri tightens his grip and picks Bitok up, before dumping him to the ground. Bitok manages to land in guard.
Kurri controlling from the top position.
Kurri passes Bitok's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Kurri wants to work for an arm triangle but Bitok is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Kurri looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kurri takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Kurri has control of Bitok's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bitok regains control of the situation pretty easily.
