PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between No Losses (ranked 4026 p4p, 4970 weight class) and Nathan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, No Losses!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Lee!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Losses tries to counter by clinching up but Lee breaks away and moves out of range.

and Losses counters by moving into the clinch.
Lee is trying to pull guard but Losses has him pressed against the cage.
Losses presses Lee against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Losses lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Losses lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Losses has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lee clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Losses is hanging on to Lee's back as he tries to escape.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Losses biding his time, looking for the opening.
Losses's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Losses has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Losses keeps control of the position as Lee tries to break free.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Losses biding his time, looking for the opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Further stalling from Losses.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

No Losses dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Lee tries to bum rush Losses with a series of wild strikes but Losses uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A punch combination from Lee misses.
Losses with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Losses slips a jab and a cross from Lee.
Lee throws a right and a left that both miss.

Losses moves into the clinch successfully.
Losses lands an uppercut.
Losses lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Lee or not.
Losses lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lee backwards.
Lee wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Losses has him pressed against the cage.
Losses lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lee backwards.
Losses lands a nice uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Losses lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Lee.
Losses lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Losses scores with a nice hook to the head.
Lee is breathing heavily.
Lee can't break the clinch.
Losses gets through Lee's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Lee is fighting off a takedown attempt but Losses is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lee to the mat. Lee regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Losses drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Losses as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Lee screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Losses! Nice submission victory there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). No Losses!
