The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stridh lands a jab to the nose.
Tartle tries to close the distance and clinch but Stridh swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tartle lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stridh has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stridh and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Stridh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tartle circles away quickly and effectively.
Tartle has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Stridh uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tartle.
Tartle needs to keep his hands up - Stridh had a free shot at his head there.
Tartle walks into a stiff left hand from Stridh.
Tartle throws a leg kick which misses Stridh's front leg but catches the back leg as Stridh tries to avoid it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stridh cracks Tartle with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Tartle is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Tartle is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Tartle could not beat the count!
