Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stephen Dyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Taistelu Jaska!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Jaska takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Dyer counters with a lovely shot to the body.

We've been told by Dyer's head coaches at Canucks Combat Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Jaska tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dyer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dyer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dyer wants it to stay on the feet.

Dyer scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jaska doesn't seem bothered though.
Jaska connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dyer. Dyer circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jaska rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dyer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Stephen Dyer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Taistelu Jaska.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jaska seems to have recovered his senses.

Jaska throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dyer went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Jaska closes the distance looking to clinch
and Dyer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Dyer is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dyer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jaska on the side of the head.
Jaska shoots in looking for a takedown. Dyer tries to sprawl out of it but Jaska keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dyer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Dyer counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Jaska takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jaska has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

and Dyer counters with a nice uppercut.
Dyer lands with a good body shot.
Dyer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jaska stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dyer lands a left and a right that send Jaska crashing to the mat, dazed. Dyer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Stephen Dyer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dyer pounces like a tiger and cracks Jaska with a vicious hook! Jaska is down but not out! Dyer follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Stephen Dyer!
Taistelu Jaska was interviewed post fight and said 'Well.. atleast I have h*es.'.
