Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ispa misses with an uppercut
and Kurri cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ispa throws a front kick that sends Kurri stumbling back into the cage.
Ispa buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ispa darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ispa feints and then cracks Kurri's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kurri down.
We've been told by Ispa's head coaches at White Eagle that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kurri has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Kurri shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Ispa is trying to maintain the position but Kurri is very close to passing his half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kurri is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ispa has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kurri is looking to defend but Ispa has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kurri! Ispa pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kurri taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Mursk Ispa!
Our winner, Mursk Ispa, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
