The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jiro on the side of the head.
Jiro takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Jiro falls off balance throwing a combination
and Walker counters with a nice uppercut.
Walker scores with a shot to the body.
Jiro tries to score a power double leg takedown but Walker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jiro somewhat.
Walker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jiro swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Walker counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jiro has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jiro there as he acknowledges the shot.

As Jiro looks to move away, Walker throws a big counter combo but Jiro just gets out of the way.
Walker connects with a body shot that sends Jiro's belly button to the back.

Jiro tries to bum rush Walker with a series of wild strikes but Walker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The fighters circle momentarily. Walker darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
