With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Maverick!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burlaka misses with a looping left.
Maverick shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Burlaka looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Burlaka lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Burlaka connects with a right hand. Maverick shakes it off.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Burlaka crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Maverick - the referee stops the clock and Burlaka gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Maverick. Burlaka manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Maverick takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Burlaka lands a nice shot that snaps Maverick's head back.
Maverick tries a head kick but it misses.
Burlaka ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maverick moves away.

Burlaka throws a jab but it's blocked by Maverick.
Burlaka is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Burlaka throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Burlaka throws the left hand but Maverick avoids the punch easily.
Burlaka throws out a loose jab but Maverick uses good head movement to avoid it.
Burlaka takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Burlaka is rocked!
Burlaka switches off momentarily and Maverick cracks him with a monster right hand! Burlaka topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Maverick dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Maverick!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Daniel Maverick!
