Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Lansky!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lansky throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lansky misses with a jab, cross combination.
Oliveira throws a sloppy body shot
and Lansky counters with a nice uppercut.
Lansky throws a jab when Oliveira was well out of range.
Lansky misses the shot to the body.
Jackson Oliveira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lansky gets tackled into the cage by Oliveira. Oliveira maintains the clinch.
Oliveira misses with some punches.
Oliveira throws a punch but it's blocked by Lansky.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Oliveira creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Lansky stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

and Lansky counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Lansky 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Lansky cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Lansky is rocked!
Oliveira has Lansky pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Lansky is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Oliveira - that's hurt Lansky badly! Oh, another knee lands and Lansky is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Lansky doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Jackson Oliveira!
Jackson Oliveira decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
