PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Valtteri Badass (ranked 1811 p4p, 2007 weight class) and Bradley Brunswick Jr (ranked 221 p4p, 239 weight class). Bradley Brunswick Jr told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 17 - 2, fighting out of London, Bradley Brunswick Jr!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badass throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Brunswick Jr stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Brunswick Jr ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Badass moves away.
Brunswick Jr misses the shot to the body.
Badass scores with a crisp jab that stopped Brunswick Jr in his tracks.
Brunswick Jr takes one to the side of the head.
Valtteri Badass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Badass scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Brunswick Jr doesn't seem bothered though.
Badass lands with a cross.
Badass avoids a punch combination nicely.
Badass appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Badass throws the left hand but Brunswick Jr avoids the punch easily.
Badass throws a nice inside leg kick.
Badass dips to his left and cracks Brunswick Jr with an uppercut!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Badass lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Badass tries a low kick but Brunswick Jr avoids it.
Brunswick Jr throws a jab when Badass was well out of range.
Badass misses with an uppercut. Brunswick Jr saw that one coming.
Badass throws a hook but Brunswick Jr avoids it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Brunswick Jr. Badass does a little dance to reset his feet.

Brunswick Jr appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Badass jabs Brunswick Jr right on the nose. Brunswick Jr blinks but takes it well.
Brunswick Jr throws a body punch but Badass moves out of range.
Badass was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Badass tries to land a leg kick but Brunswick Jr saw it coming and moves away.
Brunswick Jr takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Brunswick Jr is rocked!
Badass walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Brunswick Jr drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Badass swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Brunswick Jr's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Valtteri Badass decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
