Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vasyl Vovk (ranked 3970 p4p, 4003 weight class) and Lars Plazibat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vasyl Vovk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lars Plazibat!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plazibat throws a sloppy head kick and Vovk moves out of range easily.
It looked like Vovk wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Plazibat drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Vovk is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Plazibat asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The fight stays on the outside here - Plazibat looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vovk looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

That was a close round but I would say that Vasyl Vovk will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Vovk, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
