Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Conway!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steel clinches with his opponent.
Conway struggles to land a body shot inside as Steel controls his hands.
Steel tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Conway smiles and moves away.
Steel slips a straight right by Conway.
Steel was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Jake Conway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Conway scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Conway fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steel manages to avoid it.
Steel jabs at Conway's body.
Steel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Steel uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Conway.
It looked like Steel was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Conway.
Conway slips a jab from Steel.
Conway throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Steel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Steel scores with a hook to the body. Conway takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Conway misses the jab.
Steel ducks under a wild hook from Conway.
A head kick misses from Conway.
A punch lands to the side of Conway 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Conway tries to clinch there but Steel circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Conway swings away with a body shot that misses
and Steel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Conway attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Steel is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Conway keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Steel.
Conway scores with a crisp jab that stopped Steel in his tracks.

It looks like Daniel Steel has been cut.
Conway tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Conway takes one on the button.

It looks like Jake Conway has been cut.
Steel misses the jab.
Steel swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Conway throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Conway misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
It looked like Steel wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Steel loads up on a big right hand but Conway slips the punch.
Steel checks a leg kick.
Steel takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Steel connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Conway momentarily.
Steel avoids a kick to the body.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Steel has Conway up against the cage in a clinch.
Steel has a couple of punches blocked by Conway.
Conway with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Steel misses with a body punch.
A short body shot lands from Steel as the two fighters clinch.
Steel stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Conway looks winded!
Steel lands a shot to the body.
Steel is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Conway to keep the fight standing.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Steel lands with a light punch inside.
Steel lands a hook that snaps the head of Conway backwards.
Conway tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Steel has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Conway uses from the top position.
Steel can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Conway controls the pace.

Steel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Conway can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Steel looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Steel seems keen to control Conway's posture.
Steel seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Conway wants to control from the top but Steel keeps moving.
Conway tries to free his leg and advance position but Steel is retaining full guard.
Conway must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Steel working for a triangle but Conway defends it easily.
Conway slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Conway is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Steel's shoulder. That is not cool.
Conway is looking to take a break and control but Steel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Conway might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Steel haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Daniel Steel dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Conway looks to land a combination but Steel avoids it well.
A combination from Conway does no damage.
Steel lands with a good body shot.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Conway.
Conway scores with a shot to the body.
Conway tries to clinch up.
Steel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Steel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Conway fails in his attempt to clinch.
Steel avoids the body shot from Conway.
A little feinted left hand from Steel on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Steel dodges the punch combination from Conway.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Steel throws a one two combo.
Conway slips under a jab from Steel.
Steel thuds a left hand into Conway's body.
Steel is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Conway can do to turn this around?
This has been an exciting period of action!

Conway wants to clinch up but Steel keeps it at a distance.
A quick step to the side and Steel tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Conway throws a leg kick
and Steel counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Conway walks into a straight right hand from Steel.
Conway throws a quick inside leg kick.
Steel swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Steel lands the left hand.

That has opened up Jake Conway's cut even more.
Conway throws a half hearted mid kick.
Conway throws a leg kick
and Steel counters with a stiff right hand.
Steel keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Steel connects with a superb combination that knocks Conway out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Steel before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Conway!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Daniel Steel!
Daniel Steel seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
