Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harrison Kiely!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hyu Head!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kiely shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Head is trying to defend but Kiely finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Head trying to control here.

Kiely is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Head is just riding it out for now. Kiely eventually gives up the hold.
Kiely tries to pass the half guard into mount. Head knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kiely is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Head has managed to free his arm - good work.
Kiely wants to pass the guard but Head is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kiely moves into full mount! Head won't be happy about that!
Head is trying desperately to improve position.
Kiely fails to move to back control.
Head is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kiely controlling from the full mount.
Kiely with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kiely looking to control and managing it successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Head keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Kiely wants to finish this one by submission but Head is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kiely.
Kiely wants to control the pace but Head is squirming around nicely.
Kiely takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Head defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Kiely's arms.
Kiely seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Kiely wants to control but Head is keeping busy.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Head is trying to defend against the choke here but Kiely has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Kiely Tightens the hold and Head taps out furiously! Kiely displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Harrison Kiely!
After winning the bout, Harrison Kiely thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Hyu Head was interviewed post fight and said '"Everybody out there know I beat him, I controlled the fight, he was missing, I hit him plenty more times. I beat him.Let me talk something... I want to thank the whole hood who came out here. I love y'all. I did this for the hood, you know I beat that boy.'.
