Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Summittwo Agano (ranked 4256 p4p, 2727 weight class) and Clayton Price (ranked 0 p4p, 130 weight class). Clayton Price is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Summittwo Agano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clayton Price!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Francis DeMontford and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Agano half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Agano shoots in and bounces Price off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Price is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Price might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Agano haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Agano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Price on the ground.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Agano is looking to advance position but Price won't allow it.
Price is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Price is trying to maintain the position but Agano is very close to passing his half guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Price uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Agano.

Price is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Agano is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Price is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Agano knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Agano is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at SYDNEY ELITE GYM, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Agano manages to work his way to half guard, despite Price's best efforts.
Summittwo Agano overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Price is looking for a kimura but Agano is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Price to get the leverage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Agano is looking for a sweep. Price is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Price is looking to advance position but Agano won't allow it.

Price wants to control but Agano is keeping him busy.
Price is just content to waste time from the top position. Agano takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Clayton Price showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Agano throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Price uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Agano.

Agano drives through with a takedown into guard.
Agano is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Agano wants to control from the top but Price keeps moving.
Price looking to control.

Price has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Agano can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Price wants to sweep here but Agano controlling him for the moment.

Agano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Price swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Price has his foot on Agano's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Agano works his way back into a safe position though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Agano wants to pass the guard but Price is keeping the position.
Price trying to keep a closed guard but Agano is proving a slippery customer.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Price fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Agano to the ground. Price is now in Agano's guard.

Price has gone for a leg lock! Agano slips out almost immediately though and dives into Price's guard.

Price is trying to keep Agano in close.

Price is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Agano postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Price is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Agano, into his guard.

Price seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Price got a little sloppy there for a moment and Agano has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Price has managed to get both his arms back between Agano's legs - danger averted.
Price forces his way into half guard.

Price is trying to work for a kimura but Agano is defending well.

Agano is defending against the submission attempts here by Price.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Clayton Price.
I think Price has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
