Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Woodie Maykit!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maykit tries to move into range but Saunders moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Maykit closes the distance looking to clinch
and Saunders cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nice defenses there by Maykit.
Maykit raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Maykit takes the fight into the clinch.
Maykit blocks an uppercut.
A head punch on the inside from Saunders fails to land.

Saunders manages to break the clinch.
Maykit lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Saunders has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hawaii Gym in the buildup to the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maykit throws a jab but it's blocked by Saunders.

Maykit has taken the fight to the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Maykit's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Maykit manages to break the clinch.
Saunders throws a combination. Maykit tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Maykit punishes Saunders's body with a nice straight punch.
Maykit throws a right hand that misses
and Saunders counters with a nice uppercut.
A low kick from Maykit misses
letting Saunders counter with a right hand.
A solid leg kick lands there for Maykit.
Maykit tries a head kick but it misses.

Saunders moves into the clinch successfully.
Saunders lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Saunders just leaning against Maykit, taking a breather.
Maykit takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Woodie Maykit has been cut.

Maykit breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Saunders ducks under a wild hook from Maykit.
Maykit swings for the body but Saunders moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Maykit misses with a body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Saunders scores with a jab to the body.
Saunders lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Maykit at a distance.

Saunders closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Maykit crashing to the mat! Maykit uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
Saunders connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Maykit momentarily.

Maykit is rocked!
Maykit checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Nice shot lands for Saunders.
Maykit is still on wobbly legs! Can Saunders finish him?
Saunders connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Maykit's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Maykit - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Eron Saunders started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
