The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Haggard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Santos manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Haggard lands a head kick. Santos smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Giovanni Santos has been cut.
Santos swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Santos wants to clinch.
Haggard scores with a crisp jab that stopped Santos in his tracks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Santos tries to close the distance and clinch but Haggard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Haggard fails to land with a series of punches.
Haggard moves into range and connects with a jab.

Haggard lands with a shot to the body.
Haggard connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Santos takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A head kick misses from Haggard.
Haggard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Santos scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Santos throws a body shot but no joy.
Santos has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Haggard finds it's way round the side to connect with Santos's head.

Santos is rocked!
Santos tries to get into range but Haggard steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Santos! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Haggard scores the big KO victory!
