The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands with an overhand left.

Smith fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Salamanca paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Salamanca shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense.
Smith feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Salamancas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Salamanca shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Smith tries to bum rush Salamanca with a series of wild strikes but Salamanca uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Salamanca closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. Salamanca pushes Smith against the cage but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Smith steps in with a hook that catches Salamanca right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Smith follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Salamanca looks absolutely devastated.

A relieved looking Charles Smith thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
