The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhodes just misses with a punch to the body.
Joe dodges the punch combination from Rhodes.
Rhodes scores with a jab. Joe acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Good standup being displayed there by Rhodes as he connects with a hook.

It looks like Cottoneye Joe has been cut.
Joe misses with a low kick.
Rhodes misses with a straight left.

Rhodes feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Joe sprawling to the canvas! Joe rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rhodes finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Joe throws a head kick that Rhodes semi-blocks.
Rhodes takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Rhodes swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Rhodes sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
