PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 24152 p4p, 4877 weight class) and Dong Hyun Ma (ranked 0 p4p, 433 weight class). Zakrzewski has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Zakrzewski crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ma - the referee stops the clock and Zakrzewski gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ma. Zakrzewski manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Zakrzewski is breathing heavily.
Zakrzewski takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ma swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Ma fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Zakrzewski sprawls well initially but Ma persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Ma is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Zakrzewski to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Zakrzewski shrugs it off.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ma is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Zakrzewski can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Let's hope that Ma has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
