PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kacper Fidos (ranked 5288 p4p, 5744 weight class) and Dave Gunner (ranked 285 p4p, 319 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Gunner!

Fidos closes the distance and clinches up with Gunner, looking for a takedown. Fidos pushes Gunner against the cage but Gunner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fidos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gunner pinned against the cage. Gunner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fidos shoots in but Gunner avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Fidos bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gunner is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fidos to keep the fight standing.

Fidos ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fidos no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
