Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stan Man (ranked 642 p4p, 1078 weight class) and Marco Natta (ranked 45 p4p, 81 weight class). Stan Man could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Marco Natta's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marco Natta!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Natta rushes Man and presses him up against the cage.
Man is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Natta is defending well.
Natta misses with a punch on the inside.

Natta jumps into guard, dragging Man to the mat.
Man postures up in Natta's guard and throws a big left but Natta blocks it.
Man throwing strikes but missing.
Natta trying to control the position.
Natta has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Zombie MMA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Man is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Man wants to control from the top but Natta keeps moving.

Man throwing strikes but missing.
Man stands and throws Natta's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Natta is looking to regain half guard here but Man keeps moving and retains side control.
Natta manages to get back to half guard.

Natta looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Natta is defending against the submission attempts here by Man.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Man postures up in Natta's guard and throws a big left but Natta blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Natta holds on and takes a little breather.

Man got a little sloppy there for a moment and Natta has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Man has managed to get both his arms back between Natta's legs - danger averted.

Natta seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Natta is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Man with a flurry of punches that miss.
Man working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Natta's head.

Natta escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Man gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Man works over Natta with some ground and pound from guard.
Man passes Natta's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Man wants to control from the top but Natta keeps moving.
Man works over Natta with some ground and pound from guard.

Natta wants to control but Man passes easily into half guard.

Natta is pressing down on Man's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

That was a close round but I would say that Stan Man will probably get the nod.
That's time! Man's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Natta has Man up against the cage in a clinch.
Man jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Natta walks away with a smile on his face. Man gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Natta misses with a hook.

Natta darts in and clinches Man up against the cage.

Natta jumps into guard, dragging Man to the mat.
Man slips nicely into half guard.

Man is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Natta has managed to free his arm - good work.
Man is trying to control the action in half guard but Natta is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Man is nestled in close to Natta, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Man lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Man is trying to improve position by moving to mount. Natta has hold of his neck though and manages to move into guard! All of a sudden, Man is in a lot of trouble! Natta is straining to finish and he's done it! Man taps out! Amazing!
