The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Dias lands a nice looking kick to the body. Wilson takes a step back to recover.
Wilson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dias circles away.
Wilson darts in looking for a takedown but Dias gets double underhooks and turns Wilson into the cage.

We've been hearing that Wilson has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dias throws a left that rocks Wilson and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Dias dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Wilson regain composure!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dias is trying to get an arm triangle but Wilson is defending well.
Oh Wilson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Wilson is not content to let Dias control the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
A chopping leg kick lands by Dias.
Dias is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wilson fails with the takedown
and Dias counters with an outside leg kick.
Dias throws a leg kick which misses Wilson's front leg but catches the back leg as Wilson tries to avoid it.
Wilson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dias is fending him off so far but Wilson persists. Nope, Dias circles away and we're back to standing.

Chris Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dias. That's going to slow Wilson down.

Dias circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Wilson drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Dias follows Wilson to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
