Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Allan John Villanil (ranked 2229 p4p, 1822 weight class) and Bruno Dias (ranked 153 p4p, 129 weight class). Bruno Dias will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias slaps away a takedown attempt from Villanil, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Villanil fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Dias follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Villanil takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Dias lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Villanil goes for a double leg but Dias avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dias continues to drive forward.

Dias got a little sloppy there for a moment and Villanil has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dias has managed to get both his arms back between Villanil's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dias lands with a kick to the temple. Villanil shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Villanil shoots in looking for a takedown. Dias tries to sprawl out of it but Villanil keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dias manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Villanil changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dias tries to avoid it but Villanil manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dias to the ground. Dias escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Villanil has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dias uses from the top position.
