The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gurgel shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Gurgel tries for a takedown but Forrester Jr sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fabio Gurgel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gurgel defending well as Forrester Jr loads up on a big left hand.
