And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mapeel Leefs!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leefs moves into the clinch.
Leefs looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ranger drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ranger jumps guard but Leefs turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Ranger tries to break the clinch but Leefs is controlling the position.
Leefs wants the takedown. Ranger is fighting it off but Leefs persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ranger's guard against the cage.
Ranger is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Leefs has his hands clasped together but Ranger extends and breaks Leefs's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ranger.
