Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Jansen (ranked 2952 p4p, 2643 weight class) and Jiuberto Guibson (ranked 382 p4p, 355 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marco Jansen !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jiuberto Guibson!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jansen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Guibson.
Guibson looks to throw a body kick
and Jansen counters with a left to the body.
Guibson misses with a kick to the body.
Jansen misses the shot to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Jansen . Those never looked like landing.
Guibson tries to counter with a clinch but Jansen shakes him off and moves away.
Guibson missing with a left hand there. Jansen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Guibson doesn't manage to clinch there - Jansen circles away.
Guibson tries a head kick but it misses.

Guibson clinches up with Jansen and pushes him back against the cage.
Jansen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Jansen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Guibson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Guibson throws a shot to the body.
Guibson gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Guibson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jansen throws a big shot that misses.
Jansen misses with a hook. Guibson ducked under it nicely.
Guibson cracks Jansen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The fight stays on the outside here - Guibson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jansen avoids the head kick by Guibson.
Guibson throws a body kick that misses
and Guibson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jansen cracks a nice hook into Guibson's ribs.
Jansen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jansen throws a lazy right hand but Guibson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jansen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Guibson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A looping hook to the body misses from Jansen . Guibson does a little dance to reset his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Guibson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jansen at a distance.
Jansen swings for the body but Guibson moves out of range.
Jansen throws a shot from downtown. Guibson moves away and avoids it.
Guibson throws a jab but it's blocked by Jansen .
Jansen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Guibson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jansen moves away.
It looked like Jansen was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Guibson.
Jansen swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Guibson.
Guibson is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Jansen just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Guibson has gone limp and this one is over!

After winning the bout, Marco Jansen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
