Franco comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bullet For My Valentine- Tears Don't Fall kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hudson Clarkson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Juan David Franco!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarkson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Franco defends well and Clarkson ends up having to push Franco into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Franco pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Clarkson tries for a takedown but Franco sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Clarkson shoots in for a takedown but Franco shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hudson Clarkson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Clarkson slips a jab and a cross from Franco.
Franco pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Clarkson.
Franco tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Clarkson fails with the takedown
and Franco counters with a left to the body.
Franco works over Clarkson's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Hudson Clarkson has been cut.
Clarkson shoots in for a takedown but Franco shows good takedown defense.
Franco misses with a few strikes there.
Franco throws a series of punches but Clarkson avoids them all with ease.
Clarkson appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Clarkson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Franco sprawls well. Franco wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Clarkson gets slowly back to his feet.
Franco swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Franco throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clarkson.
Clarkson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Franco defends it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clarkson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Franco lands a big head kick that sends Clarkson tumbling to the mat! Franco takes a step backwards and waves Clarkson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Franco is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Franco shuts the power down on Clarkson. Lights out, game over! Franco is your winner.

Our winner, Juan David Franco, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
