Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edmund Blackadder (ranked 3634 p4p, 3442 weight class) and Alexei Sykov (ranked 439 p4p, 420 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edmund Blackadder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexei Sykov!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackadder throws a lazy right hand but Sykov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Blackadder looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sykov moves out of range as Blackadder strikes.
Blackadder throws a jab when Sykov was well out of range.
Sykov looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Sykov avoids the body shot from Blackadder.
Sykov throws a combination that misses
and Blackadder connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Blackadder fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sykov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blackadder manages to avoid it.
Blackadder pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sykov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Blackadder tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sykov is in Blackadder's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sykov trying to control the position from guard on top but Blackadder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sykov is working Blackadder over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Sykov pushing down on Blackadder's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Sykov is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Blackadder wants to get back to his feet.
Sykov looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Sykov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Blackadder knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sykov on the ground.
Sykov moves nicely into side control.
Sykov in side control lands a decent elbow.
Blackadder pushes Sykov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sykov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sykov wants to control but Blackadder is keeping him busy.
Sykov throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Sykov is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Blackadder has escaped the position, nice work there.
Sykov advances to mount.
Sykov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Blackadder's face.
Sykov is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Sykov extends the arm and Blackadder is forced to tap!
