Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Iaspero Yalixqua (ranked 2778 p4p, 5795 weight class) and Frito Lei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yalixqua comes into the arena with Stop This Flame blaring out of the sound system. Lei has chosen Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. Frito Lei told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lei looks to clinch

and Yalixqua counters with a crisp right hand that drops Lei! Yalixqua lets Lei back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Lei is rocked!
Lei looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Lei is aggressively charging in as Yalixqua backs up avoiding any damage. Yalixqua tosses out a jab and Lei runs right into it face first! Lei is out cold! Yalixqua dropped down on all fours and is barking in Lei's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Iaspero Yalixqua!
After the fight, Iaspero Yalixqua was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Frito Lei spoke after the fight, saying 'I need a drink!'.
