Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tokoni Soaki (ranked 1306 p4p, 2358 weight class) and Timothy Combs (ranked 157 p4p, 293 weight class). Soaki comes to the cage accompanied by Le Manu - Shepherds Reign. Tokoni Soaki has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soaki with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Soaki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Combs moves away.
Soaki definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Combs swings for the body but Soaki moves out of range.

Combs tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Combs has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Soaki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Combs can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Soaki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Combs swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Soaki drops back looking for a leg! Combs is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Combs manages to kick Soaki off! Soaki jumps back into Combs's guard.

Soaki lands with an uppercut that bounces Combs off the cage and back into range.

Soaki lands a left and a right that send Combs crashing to the mat, dazed. Soaki thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Combs is rocked!

It looks like Timothy Combs has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Soaki lands with a nice body punch.

Soaki is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Combs flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Combs is out cold! Soaki holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
