Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arman Avangyan (ranked 3339 p4p, 2399 weight class) and Anni Skystalker (ranked 371 p4p, 296 weight class). Anni Skystalker is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avangyan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Avangyan goes for a takedown attempt but Skystalker pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Skystalker throws a series of punches but Avangyan avoids them all with ease.
Arman Avangyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Avangyan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Skystalker did well to prevent Avangyan getting side control.
Avangyan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Skystalker is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Avangyan is aware though and is defending well.

Oh but Skystalker is tightening it up a little... Avangyan has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Avangyan reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Avangyan taps out! Nice BJJ there by Skystalker!
