Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kru Ka Mali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Brandt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mali's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, ALL! by Descendents. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mali tries to clinch but Brandt is having none of it.
Mali slips a jab and a cross from Brandt.
Brandt misses with a straight right.
Brandt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mali ducks under a wild hook from Brandt.
Mali is looking to clinch but Brandt is avoiding it.
Brandt throws a quick inside leg kick.
Mali tries to clinch up but Brandt circles away and keeps his distance.

Brandt goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brandt clobbers Mali with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Kru Ka Mali has been cut.
Brandt feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mali's calf.
Brandt fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mali.
Mali walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Brandt buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Brandt waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Mali. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Mali to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Mali is rocked!
Brandt advances to half guard.
Oh Mali is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brandt is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Mali seems to have got his legs back now.
Brandt controlling the action here.
Brandt's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Brandt sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mali defending well though.
Brandt looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mali with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Brandt throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Brandt seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mali does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Brandt is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Brandt thows a huge punch but Mali dodges it nicely.
Brandt throws a strike but Mali avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Brandt lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mali takes one to the chin there.
Brandt lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mali's sensitive parts.
A punch lands to the side of Mali 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Brandt counters with a big right hand! Oh Mali is in trouble here! Brandt follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
