Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hubert Zoerner (ranked 2845 p4p, 5091 weight class) and Alfonzo Le Mans (ranked 384 p4p, 556 weight class). Le Mans has chosen Purge announcement as his entrance music. Alfonzo Le Mans has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Hubert Zoerner's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Le Mans feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Zoerner sprawling to the canvas! Zoerner rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Le Mans finish him?!

It looks like Hubert Zoerner has been cut.
Zoerner throws a nice looking combination but Le Mans bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Le Mans takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Nice defenses there by Zoerner.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zoerner throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Le Mans throws a sloppy head kick and Zoerner moves out of range easily.
Le Mans missing with a left hand there. Zoerner was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Le Mans misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No joy there for Le Mans, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Alfonzo Le Mans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Zoerner counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Zoerner is pushing down on Le Mans's leg trying to pass to half guard. Le Mans is fighting to maintain full guard but Zoerner has managed to sneak the leg through.
Still in half guard, Zoerner seems content to control.
Zoerner passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Le Mans!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zoerner seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Le Mans for as long as he can get away with.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Le Mans has given up his back.
Zoerner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Le Mans is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Zoerner trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Le Mans doesn't escape.
Zoerner continues to stall.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Zoerner has good solid back control here.
We've been informed that Le Mans has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Zoerner looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Le Mans is trying to stand back up.
Zoerner biding his time, looking for the opening.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hubert Zoerner will probably get the nod.

That's time! Zoerner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Le Mans throws a hook to the side of Zoerner's head but Zoerner sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Zoerner tries to counter with a takedown but Le Mans is quick to defend against it.
Le Mans uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zoerner.

Zoerner closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Zoerner lands in his opponent's guard.
Zoerner is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Zoerner has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Le Mans wants to get back to his feet but Zoerner is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Le Mans throws a shot from downtown. Zoerner moves away and avoids it.
Zoerner get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Zoerner stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Le Mans runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Alfonzo Le Mans got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
