Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colton Wilder (ranked 459 p4p, 412 weight class) and Thomas Rose (ranked 60 p4p, 53 weight class). Wilder kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tombstone - Avatar Darko. Thomas Rose has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Wilder feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

and Rose counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Wilder jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rose walks away with a smile on his face. Wilder gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wilder tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rose just stands there and leans against the cage.

Rose drops Wilder with a big knee straight up the middle! Wilder is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

It looks like Colton Wilder has been cut.
Rose fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Wilder square on the jaw! Damn, Wilder is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

A relieved looking Thomas Rose thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
