Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Lawson (ranked 987 p4p, 1189 weight class) and Ron Schultz (ranked 155 p4p, 188 weight class). Schultz is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Enter Shikari - Sorry You're Not A Winner. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawson throws a looping overhand right but Schultz ducks down to avoid it.
A punch lands to the side of Schultz 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Ron Schultz has been cut.
Lawson throws a big shot that misses.
Lawson throws a hook but Schultz avoids it easily.
Schultz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Schultz staying out of range there.
Schultz slips a straight right by Lawson.
Nice defenses there by Schultz.
Schultz cracks Lawson with a right hand to the side of the head.
Lawson throws a shot from downtown. Schultz moves away and avoids it.
Lawson throws the left hand but Schultz avoids the punch easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schultz throws a series of strikes that have Lawson backpedaling.

It looks like Tyler Lawson has been cut.
Schultz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lawson has time to react.

Schultz cracks Lawson with an open hand slap.
Oh Lawson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lawson throws a lazy right hand but Schultz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Schultz ducks under a wild hook from Lawson.
Lawson seems to have got his legs back now.
Schultz moves out of range as Lawson strikes.

Schultz lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Schultz steps in with a hook that catches Lawson right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Schultz follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Lawson looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ron Schultz!
A very excited looking Ron Schultz rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
