Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bryson Potts (ranked 4017 p4p, 3949 weight class) and Mateusz Gamrot (ranked 165 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryson Potts could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mateusz Gamrot's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potts throws a head kick but Gamrot moves out of range.
Potts tries to close the distance and clinch but Gamrot swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gamrot looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Potts is fending him off so far but Gamrot persists. Nope, Potts circles away and we're back to standing.
Gamrot looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Gamrot or perhaps it was just good defense by Potts, which made it look bad.

Potts shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gamrot manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gamrot can do anything to dispel that myth.
Potts wants to stand but Gamrot has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Potts has control of Gamrot's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gamrot regains control of the situation pretty easily.
