Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chong Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conor Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chong Li could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Conor Doyle's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chong Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conor Doyle!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li shoots in but no luck this time.
Doyle stalks Li and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Li's face. Li staggers backwards, shaken.
Nice takedown defense from Li. No joy for Doyle on that attempt.
Li has his takedown stuffed

and Doyle counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Li!
Doyle sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Doyle trying to control but Li is having none of it.

Doyle wants to finish this one by submission but Li is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Doyle.
Li really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Doyle with a couple of short strikes.
Doyle tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Li is wriggling around trying to escape.
Li manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Doyle tries to stand but can't do so whilst Li controls his leg.

Li regains full guard. Nicely done.
Doyle pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Li is keeping the position for now.
Doyle must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Doyle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Doyle decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Li, up you get!
Li tries for a takedown but Doyle circles away easily

and Doyle counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chong Li. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Doyle looks gassed!
The fighters are battling for position here. Li manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Doyle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Li swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Li lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Doyle!

Li has hold of Doyle's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Doyle manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Li has control of Doyle's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Doyle regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Li working for a guillotine from mount but Doyle is in no mood to give up.
Doyle wants to control but Li is having none of it.

Li is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Doyle has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Doyle can't escape the position.
