Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Jenkins (ranked 3018 p4p, 4425 weight class) and Mirsad Nepobjedivi (ranked 109 p4p, 188 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nepobjedivi moves in looking to clinch but Jenkins pushes him off.
Jenkins throws an overhand right that lands on Nepobjedivi's shoulder, as Nepobjedivi tries to avoid the shot.
Nepobjedivi takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Nepobjedivi shoots for a takedown but Jenkins saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nepobjedivi.
Jenkins swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nepobjedivi can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jenkins is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Nepobjedivi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jenkins has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Nepobjedivi is on him like a limpet, forcing Jenkins back against the cage.
Jenkins is pressed up against the cage. Nepobjedivi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jenkins down to the mat. Jenkins avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
John Jenkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mirsad Nepobjedivi.
Jenkins lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Nepobjedivi manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jenkins on his heels. He'll look to pass Jenkins's guard now, I'm sure.

Jenkins has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Nepobjedivi is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Jenkins definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Jenkins gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Nepobjedivi regains guard.
Jenkins is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

A big strike lands for Jenkins! That's really hurt Nepobjedivi and he's turned his back - Jenkins keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Jenkins jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
