Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalevelis Kalvis (ranked 4515 p4p, 5717 weight class) and AS Shole (ranked 217 p4p, 311 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kalevelis Kalvis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, AS Shole!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalvis cracks Shole with a good jab.
Shole throws a front kick aimed at Kalvis's knee but Kalvis avoids it well.

Shole instigates a clinch.
Kalvis definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Shole drags the fight down to the ground.
Shole has Kalvis pulled in close to control his posture.
Kalvis has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kalvis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shole has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kalvis has managed to get both his arms back between Shole's legs - danger averted.
Shole seems keen to control Kalvis's posture.
Shole wants to sweep here but Kalvis controlling him for the moment.
Shole is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Shole tries to pass to full mount but Kalvis defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shole is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shole trying to control but Kalvis is having none of it.
Kalvis is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Shole sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Shole misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Shole can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kalvis is looking to escape.
Shole throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Kalvis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shole on the ground.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Shole wants to take Kalvis's back but he can't do it this time.
Kalvis wants to hold on but Shole pushes him away.
Kalvis has given up his back. Will we see Shole going for some submissions?
Kalvis is covering up but some of the strikes from Shole are getting through and doing damage.
Shole throwing sloppy strikes.

Shole has managed to slip his arm under Kalvis's chin. This could be all over... yep, Kalvis is tapping out! Submission win for Shole.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). AS Shole!
