PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Uppercut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Torres might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Face the pain. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Uppercut swivels and escapes.
Torres looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Uppercut closes the distance and clinches.

Uppercut drags the fight down to the ground.
Uppercut is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Torres working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Uppercut doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Uppercut manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Torres is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Uppercut with him. Uppercut is trying to defend but Torres has an arm under the chin now! Uppercut grimaces and is forced to tap out!
