Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Medieval Mercenary (ranked 5462 p4p, 2568 weight class) and Bruce Chang (ranked 453 p4p, 307 weight class). Chang has chosen Kung Fu Fighting ft. Fatboy Slim as his entrance music. Medieval Mercenary is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 19 - 2, fighting out of New York, Medieval Mercenary!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Chang!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Mercenary.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mercenary looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mercenary throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Chang connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mercenary tries to clinch but Chang moves out of range.
Chang has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Mercenary takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Chang with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Mercenary tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chang swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chang buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Chang fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mercenary.
We've been told by Mercenary's head coaches at Blood and Iron Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Chang dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mercenary. That did some damage!

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Chang creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Chang takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Chang digs a right hand underneath Mercenary's ribcage. Mercenary let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Mercenary tries to throw a body punch but Chang avoids it by throwing Mercenary back against the ropes.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Chang counters with a beautiful hook that drops Mercenary to the mat! Will Mercenary be able to recover his senses? The referee starts the count at 3 having sent Chang to a neutral corner. 4,5,6 and Mercenary is up. He looks OK to continue.
Mercenary is rocked!
It looks like Medieval Mercenary has been cut.
Mercenary misses with a two punch combination.
Chang only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Oh Mercenary is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mercenary throws a solid leg kick but Chang takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Mercenary.
Mercenary seems to have got his legs back now.
Chang and Mercenary are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Chang throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Mercenary into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Chang knows it - he's on the ropes flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bruce Chang!
After winning the bout, Bruce Chang thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
