Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Pete Dunham (ranked 434 p4p, 19456 weight class) and Kimmo Kallio (ranked 65 p4p, 550 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dunham might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Im Forever Blowing Bubbles. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Kallio misses its intended target.
Kallio throws a jab but it's blocked by Dunham.
Dunham lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Dunham throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kallio was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Kallio needs to keep his hands up - Dunham had a free shot at his head there.

It looks like Kimmo Kallio has been cut.
Kallio avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dunham has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Copes in the buildup to the fight.
Kimmo Kallio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kallio keeps the fight on the outside.
Kallio misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kallio displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Pete Dunham has been cut.
Kallio looks to land a left hand but Dunham moved out of range nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kallio lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kallio bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kallio throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dunham sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Dunham avoids the head kick by Kallio.
Dunham looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Dunham takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Dunham throws a looping overhand right but Kallio ducks down to avoid it.
Dunham moves out of range of the leg kick from Kallio.
Dunham throws a big shot that misses.
Dunham throws a half hearted mid kick.
That kick from Kallio tenderised Dunham's leg. Dunham is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kallio tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dunham was well out of range. Poor timing from Kallio.
Dunham lands with a good body shot.

and Kallio counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kallio stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dunham.

and Dunham counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kallio thinking.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kallio misses with a body punch
and Dunham counters with an outside leg kick.
Dunham thuds his right hand into Kallio's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Dunham fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kallio on the side of the head.

Kallio is rocked!
Dunham closes the distance and catches Kallio with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Kallio is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Kallio is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Kallio is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Dunham takes it!
