Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Kai Rossiter (ranked 3650 p4p, 5415 weight class) and Wesley Taurus (ranked 434 p4p, 543 weight class). Taurus is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Country Boy - Aaron Lewis. Kai Rossiter had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 20 - 0, fighting out of London, Kai Rossiter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 25 - 3, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wesley Taurus!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taurus lands a body shot.
Rossiter drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Rossiter closes the distance and pushes Taurus back into the ropes.
Taurus tries to land knees in the clinch but Rossiter avoids the damage to the body.
Taurus tries to work over Rossiter's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Rossiter tries a body shot but Taurus blocks it.
Rossiter's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Taurus pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rossiter throws a leg kick that is checked
and Taurus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rossiter moves in looking to clinch but Taurus pushes him off.
Taurus goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Taurus throws a series of punches but Rossiter moves out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rossiter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Taurus moves away.
Rossiter misses the shot to the body.
Rossiter tries to land a front kick but Taurus steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Rossiter takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Rossiter gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Taurus has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

and Taurus counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rossiter's knee momentarily.

Taurus bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Taurus scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rossiter doesn't seem bothered though.
Rossiter throws a solid leg kick but Taurus takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rossiter.

And Taurus responds with a good body kick, but Rossiter manages to step out the way in time.

Rossiter throws a push kick but Taurus slaps the foot to one side.

Rossiter takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

letting Taurus counter with a right hand.

Taurus cracks Rossiter with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Rossiter looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Wesley Taurus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
